If you plan to go on holiday somewhere and get in some gaming time, then Biloxi is the place to go. These casinos are still around today, as are many newer establishments. The city was transformed, as new hotels and casinos were suddenly erected on the site to take advantage of the new laws. In the 1990s, Mississippi legalised gambling, and this had a huge effect on Biloxi. Sitting right on the Gulf Coast, it is the perfect place to cool off for a week or two in the summer. Since the antebellum period, Biloxi in Mississippi has been a summer resort. ![]()
